These maps are used as baseline to assess the economic importance of fishing locations and summarized as Fisheries Sensitivity Index 1 and Fisheries Sensitivity Index 2 as well as context-providing layers characterizing the fishing activity of UK vessels. The indexes are provided as 3-years average (2019-2021), 5-years average (2017-2019) and 10-years average (2012-2021) using a C-square grid of 0.05x0.05 degree. Any updates and corrections afterwards were not included. Maps were based on VMS data for UK vessels and AIS data for UK and non-UK vessels when available but include predominantly vessels above 12-metre vessel lengths.</p><p><span style='color:#000000;'><strong>Restrictions:</strong></span></p><p><span style='color:#000000;'>To comply with EU general data protection regulations (GDPR) only grid cells containing >3 vessels can be displayed.
